Happy 13th Anniversary, Craig.
If I could go back to our wedding day for just a moment, to see you waiting for me in the church. I would. I would in a heartbeat but I would never give up or change the past 13 years. I have enjoyed and loved our many adventures, big and small. Those adventures are our story and I would not want to re-write any of it.
The last year has been a pretty hectic one but here we are standing on the horizon of year 14, smiling.
It hasn’t always been easy and it hasn’t always been fun and games but doing this with you makes it easier and funner. I am so fortunate to have you to share this journey with me. The first 13 years were our time to start our family and move out of the baby and toddler stages. It’s in the next 13 that we have the most important work to do. Raise our 3 girls to be happy and healthy. To get through the teen years and hold on tight to one another as they drift away from us for lives of their own. It’s in these next 13 or so years that I will need you the most.
Happy 13th Anniversary to my best friend, soul mate and love of my life. Thank you for navigating this journey with me. For sometimes taking the driver’s seat and other times sitting quietly, supportively in the passenger seat. For being a good husband and an even better father. For spending time with me… with us. For making our house a home. For putting your family first above all else and for showing us on a daily basis that we make your life worth it.
I would not want to do this with anyone else. You make this life worth it.
