We are celebrating your special day while on vacation in Florida. We went to Magic Kingdom and you met Anna and Elsa. Finally. It was worth every second of that 80 minute wait in a line up. You declared it the highlight of your day. It was mine too.
The last two days you have been sick. Too sick to leave the condo where we are staying. I am so sad that you have missed two days here. I hope, today when you wake up, that you are feeling better. I want you to have a magical birthday.
On this day, 5 years ago, we welcomed our final piece to our family puzzle. You completed our family and we haven’t looked back. It’s unimaginable what life would be like without our Quinn. Sassy, defiant, smart, beautiful and bright. You make me work hard as a Mom. Challenging me and testing me. Some days I’m exhausted but you should know that when I look into your big, round, beautiful blue eyes my heart swells with love for you.
Those days seem long, but my dear, the years are short. Too short.
On this most joyous of days we are celebrating you. How very blessed we are that we are all together. So today, put on your Elsa dress and your party shoes and let’s show Disney Quinner Quinner Princess of the dinner.
