Dear Piper ~
We spent two pretty great weeks in Florida on vacation. The weather was great and we had such a good time. So much fun, in fact, we are talking about going again next year.
Our best day was the day we spent at Cocoa Beach. Your dad and I both knew that it would be one of our favourite days. We have always enjoyed our time at the Beach. No matter which beach we happen to stick our toes in. When we arrived at the beach, two boys were just leaving and they gave us their body boards, which you loved. You spent hours in the surf on it. You even asked if you could take a surf lesson… which didn’t at all surprise us.
Maybe that is some thing for us to plan for next year.
Hockey season is drawing to a close for you. You played on a mixed team in a tournament last weekend and we are gearing up to go again at the end of the month. You are also playing 3 on 3 right now. I’m not sure if you are ready to call it a close on your season but we can hang up your skates and enjoy our summer, for summer will pass all too quickly.
It has been a fabulous season and there isn’t a thing that I would change about it…. but I am already looking forward to next year.
I can’t wait to see what fun and memories we make this summer.
