I love summer.
Everyone is just a bit more relaxed.
The nights get a bit later and the mornings do to.
Everyone is just a bit more carefree and unscheduled.
We eat fresh fruit in between jumps in the pool. We snack just a little bit more.
Large freezies become a staple in our diet.
The lake calls all of our names begging us to enjoy the waves and the sun.
As the years go by, I am a more relaxed mom.
The girls are just bit more independent this year than they were the summer before. And I find that I am enjoying this time in our family.
Craig and I can sit on the deck chatting while the girls swim and jump in the pool. They don’t need us in there with them and I am enjoying their freedom.
