Dear Piper ~
Happy 12th birthday to my Magoo.
The years are swiftly passing us by. There are days that I feel I am running out of time. With each passing year we spend just a little less time together. You are a busy 12 year old. You are swimming and playing hockey. Playing basketball and joining the school play. You are babysitting and delivering papers.
We opened a bank account for you this year. You are growing quite the savings account and I hope you continue to see the importance of saving some money, donating some money and spending some money. I have big aspirations for you and I hope that you have some big aspirations and dreams for yourself. There isn’t anything that I don’t think you are capable of and I believe that you can do whatever you set your mind to.
It’s hard to believe that on this day 12 years ago, you were born. You arrived early and our lives and our hearts were never the same. Today that beautiful baby girl is 12 and continues to grow into a wonderful, loving, caring person and a damn good hockey player.
I wish you the best birthday and the most amazing year with lots of adventures and experiences.
