I love those days when I wake up in the morning with a smile on my face. Feeling thankful and blessed to be me. I have been fortunate in my life. I met and married my soul mate, my best friend and we have a wonderful marriage. I have a mother and a father that I love (and they love me). I have a sister that, not only do I still talk to, but we are friends. We are respectful of one another. I have in-laws that I enjoy visiting and look forward to their visits.
I have a great job, in a great firm, with great staff. I live in a nice city. I drive a nice car (and by nice I don’t mean that it is some insanely expensive sports car or SUV). I have a terrific dog and a beautiful home. Even though we don’t yet have children and that has been a struggle for us… I HAVE HOPE that someday we will. I have hope. I have hope. I have hope.
What a sunshiny beautiful day even if the sun outside is hiding behind the rain clouds. It is shining bright in my heart.

It’s nice to feel settled in with your life, your hopes and your dreams. It’s nice to know that you love and are loved. We have many stories to tell, some good some bad, but somehow our family has managed to make it through the good, the bad and the ugly. There is nothing I am more thankful for then my family. I can’t even explain it, but that day that I hoped for when I would be myself again, came and went. Just like that. Not to say that there aren’t struggles, but I am overall a very happy person. I am content with the direction of my life. At 30, I look back and smile because everything that I am is a product of the love we’ve shared together. I made it through the darkest time. I made it through with my spirit still intact. We made it through! (sniffle, sniffle) Great to cry tears of joy, not tears of sadness. When the sun shines in your heart you know things have got to be good.
So, I’ve been snooping around in your Blog and went into your archives and saw that you turned 29 on April 29th.
You know that the year you turn the samw year as your birthday is supposed to be your good luck year, right?
