Summer is fast approaching and June starts tomorrow. Why is that we try to cram all of our “things to do” into this season…. The weather, I guess.
June so far leaves Craig and I with no free weekend. We are okay with that, afterall we made the plans. We have so much yard work to do and so much we would like to do. So very little time. If you factor in the days that will be rainy, we could very well have no time to get the yard work done.
We are playing slo-pitch again…. WOO HOO. We have played almost every summer since we have been together. For two years, we managed and coached. It is all recreation and the most planning goes into what kind of beer to keep cold for after the game.
We will be playing Wednesday nights with a crew that Craig works with. This should be fun and I am anxious to get out and be active in a social setting.
We are also planning to do the Dragon Boat races with Craig’s company. Anyone who has ever done this knows that the practices are hell, but the races are fun! And, it is for a great cause.
