I remember what it was like to be a student, wanting a little extra spending money. I remember the dread of sending out applications and waiting for a summer job. One year I worked in the Student Employment Office (Human Resources Development Canada) and really enjoyed it. I support hiring students.
If you read my previous post, then you know that we had 10 yards of dirt delivered to our home on Friday. I was not a happy camper Friday evening working with the dirt. We were about 2 hours into it when the sky got increasingly darker and the rain started. We covered the dirt with tarps and made a run for the house. It stormed and rained hard for about an hour (if that). Damn rain. It is nice and sunny out there right now, but they are calling for rain for the remainder of the week.
As I sit and type this, we have two students working their butts off spreading the dirt so that we can get the grass seed down and wait for the rain. I went home for lunch and they were well over half done.
Ahhhh, hire a student. What a great idea.

Yes they did. Finished up last night with seeding. Just in time for all the rain.
