The story of the hot tub

For years I have asked Craig for a pool. Just like the Simpson episode,
“Can we get a pool dad?”
“Can we get a pool dad?”
“Can we get a pool dad?”
“Can we get a pool dad?”
“Can we get a pool dad?”
“Can we get a pool dad?”

Part of me knew the request was far fetched and likely never to be granted. So then I started suggesting that we get a hot tub.
“Can we get a hot tub?”
“Can we get a hot tub?”
“Can we get a hot tub?”
“Can we get a hot tub?”
“Can we get a hot tub?”
“Can we get a hot tub?”

I guess the reasons we never did were:
1. Expense – and it can be expensive; and
2. We have never stayed in one place long enough.

We are finally getting that hot tub. It is being delivered next week.
We are setting it up outside so we can temper it for summer refreshment and winter enjoyment.

Guess all those requests finally paid off.

Shall I rain on your parade NOW or later? 😉

1. Excessive bathing in hot water slows sperm production down.

And

2. Hot baths are a no-no when you’re preggers..for future info 😀

But you probably already knew both of those things….

Just giving you a heads up! 😀

Hello. My name is Bonny…and I’m a storm cloud 😉

Thanks, Bonnie. Yes, I already know…

We cannot continue to plan our life around our infertility. I don’t want to wake up in five years and wonder what I have done with my time. We gave up a southern vacation with friends in hopes that we would either be pregnant or well into fertility treatments. That trip would have come and gone and we are not pregnant, do not have a baby… nor have we done any high tech fertility treatments. On our quest for baby, I don’t want to forget to live.

We can control the temperature and take things easy.
