Bears on Broadway

Bears on Broadway.
They are so neat.
This is me posing with “Bearister Bear”.
How fitting.
There are Sixty-two polar bears
running wild
on Broadway Avenue in Winnipeg
this summer.
Attracting sightseers of all ages.
The bears are a fund raiser for
CancerCare Manitoba.
Already $350,000 has been raised.
Each concrete bear is
over six feet tall and
has been given a unique
identity by a local artist.

This one, I call Harley Bear.
I don’t remember his name.
Isn’t he adorable?
Went for a ride,
wind blowing in my hair.
Hugging that bear tight.
Craig didn’t seem to mind.
He almost had a bath
with this one.
