30 that is.
My 30th birthday is just around the corner.
I cannot belive that I am going to be 30. I remember when 30 was old. What the heck did I know then? Not much, it appears. I am turning 30 and I really feel like my life is still just starting to take off. I look back and am so thankful for the course that it has taken and the road that is still ahead of me.
Last year at this time, BonnieT reminded me that great things happen in the birthday year that is the same number as your birthdate (Flower Birthday)…. and we got pregnant and had our first baby. Nothing greater. My name was added to the letterhead of our firm. The name has changed to Carroll Miller Mayes. How proud am I?
So as I head into my thirties I wonder what they will have in store for me…. more children – I hope. A marriage that continues to grow in strength, love and happiness. A family that I contnue to be close to. Who could ask for anything more? 30 will be good – I’ll make sure of it since I have no way to avoid getting older.

I felt great entering my 30s, I am much more confident and at about that time, I figured out my career path (late bloomer). I felt healthier at 30 than I did at 20, and I was definitely much more accepting of myself, including my flaws. Your 30s will be great.

30 aaaah I remember way back then… at least I think I do? LOL! (Sheesh and it wasn’t even that long ago, feels like forever though.)
