We are now at the stage in our life where we NEED a babysitter if we want to go out in the evening. Last night we hired our first babysitter that has no blood relation to us. It was nice and it felt great to be out together again with no baby. We turned the radio off in the van and listened to the silence. No Piper in the back seat crying…. LOL.
We are now, finally, able to participate in conversations with other parents about children. We also have to watch the amount of alcohol that is consumed because there is no more sleeping through the night and certainly no more sleeping the next day away because of a hang over.
Oh, how our life has changed. And oh, how I wouldn’t change a thing.

i promise, she will begin to sleep through the night soon! someone said maybe he just needed to reach a certain weight… so maybe that holds true for piper, too.
it hasn’t been that long for me, and i already don’t miss that!
