My 12 year old cousin Lizzy
is here for two weeks.
Hanging out with Piper.
While hanging out in the hot
tub she said to me, “You have
alot of bathing suits.”
Referring to my swim suits
hanging outside to dry.
From there we started talking
about going to highschool,
finishing highschool and then
going away to university or
college.
Of course we took this as an
opportunity to tell her that
she damn well better finish
highschool and that she better
go to either University or college.
Because then she can get a good
job and own as many damn bathing
suits as she wants to.
Let’s face it, that is what it
is all about… the number of
bathing suits hanging outside to
dry. Having the life that you
want with no limits.
Those bathing suits were my
way of explaining to a 12
year old, why having a degree
and a good job are important.
When she is older those bathing
suits will become a roof over
her head, food in her mouth, a
car to drive and whatever
else her little heart desires.
Dream big! Dream about alot of
bathing suits.

The cool thing is whenever she looks at a bathing suit from now on she will think of you and your conversation!
