Fork in the Road

I think I am at a Fork in the Road,
regarding my career. Since I am not
going to be returning to work at the
best firm ever… I don’t think that
I want to return to private practise.

I have an overwhelming desire to find
a career that I can still use my skills,
experience and knowledge as a lawyer but
that will actually make a difference in
people’s lives.

I really enjoyed practising family law
and that is where I will return if I go
back to private practise… but I don’t
really want to spend my entire career
fighting over pension plans, china and
custody.

I feel like I could be doing so much
more.
