And not the television series but the
one where I spent all day yesterday.
I woke up in the morning to bleeding.
Not spotting but bleeding. I called Craig
right away and he came home. We took
Piper to daycare and went to the ER as
per my OBs orders.
“If the spotting gets worse or you start bleeding
go to the hospital.”
Orders, that I never thought I would actually
have to take.
We arrived at 9:30 and were there until 4:00!
The good news is that baby and I are fine.
While doing an examination, I was told that I
had a terrible polyp that was bleeding. The
Dr. was certain that is what was causing the
bleeding. He did some bloodwork and requested
a scan. When he couldn’t find the baby’s heart
beat with a doppler, he insisted on the scan to
confirm that everything was okay and to put
our minds at ease.
My bloodwork looked great and my Beta levels
were fantastic. We waited 3 hours to get a scan
but, at the end of the day, it was worth it. To see
Bugaboo dancing and the heart beating.
We just wish that I could have a stress free pregnancy
but this polyp could bleed off and on throughout and
the bleeding scares the shit out of me.

Thanks goodness for a healthy outcome, but sorry you had to go through all that! Hugs!
Oh geez! Can’t they remove the polyp? I had one and it was removed quite easily with very little discomfort.
I’m so glad that everything is okay though. My heartrate sped up as soon as I started reading your post. Thank goodness it ended well.
