Naps! I don’t need no stinkin’ naps!

Well Piper has been saying that for as long as I can remember… but we always forced her to nap. We had to, she frackin needed it and so did we. Since Davilyn was born, Piper has been slowly giving up the nap. Some days were brutal and dinner time became our ‘witching hour’ and bed time moved to 7:00 p.m.

Well, my Piperoni has not napped since before Christmas sometime. I can’t even pinpoint the exact date. With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, fighting her to nap was not my idea of a good time. So we just didn’t.

She is been pretty good. Bed time is earlier and much easier! We read our books and have our talk and within minutes she is sleeping. We haven’t had a witching hour either… but that could be because Grammy & Grampy are here keeping her busy.

I do believe that naps are a thing of the past for my Piperoni… *sniff* she is growing up so fast.

Oh no, not the end of naps! (One of my twins is ready to stop I think, but Mom isn’t just yet! We just keep them up a bit later! šŸ™‚ )

Good luck with the new phase!

I still don’t understand why Kiddos fight the nap?(like mine who sleep only when they are DEAD TIRED which means everyone around them is too) I mean do they KNOW how precious NAPS are??? How much I would give to have someone hand me a Bunny(Blanket) and tell me to go lay down for an hour or two, no pressure, nothing to do??? Oh man, I would love to take over Piper’s nap. LOL šŸ™‚

they do grow up so fast, it’s so hard to believe, but she is getting more adorable every day .

Naps are a struggle around here too. I don’t seem them lasting much longer once the new baby gets here. As much as I need Chicka to nap, I just won’t have to time to devote to getting her down. šŸ™
