Dearest Davilyn ~
I love how happy you are. Your big smile makes my heart sing, again and again. Happy 11 months, Boo. 11 Months! Soon you will be ONE. I. Can’t. Believe. It.
You are getting so busy, and I am pretty sure you are busier than your sister ever was! You aren’t crawling but that hasn’t slowed you down one bit. You find every way you can to move around.
You have sprouted three teeth in the last month and more are on the way. Boy, teething sure makes you miserable and then we all get to be miserable. It usually happens at night (of course) but then you are right back to being a bouncy, bubbly baby girl.
I know that I can’t stop you from growing up… and really, I don’t want to. This is what the fun is all about. Watching you learn and experience new things. Soon Mama will be going back to work three days a week and is really going to miss spending that precious time with you and Piper. Mama is so lucky to be able to work part time and spend more time with you. I am very excited to be able to do this.
The next letter that I write will be in celebration of your first birthday and I sit here in awe of the wonderful year we have had together. You have certainly been a joy and I have loved every minute of our precious time together. Even the nights when you won’t sleep, or don’t sleep well. Even the days of teething and crying. I’ve been blessed and no matter how much I try, or how much I say it… I could never tell you enough how very much you are loved.
