Dearest Davilyn ~
Happy 2nd Birthday, Boo! I think I have to admit that the second year is one of my favourites! I love your curiousity and your spunk. You are so much like your big sister, Piper, but so very different too. It amazes me that it has been two years since you were born. It’s been two years since I carried you in my body and cried tears of joy when you were born.
Now that I have three gorgeous girls, there are days when we are all nearing the end of our sanity and we wonder how we will make it to bed time. Among those days are glorious moments when I see you and Piper playing nicely together. Beautiful memories of you kissing Quinn’s head and her hands. Inspiring moments when you I hear you say, “Piper, I love you.”
You have so much to say these days and you are such a chatter box! Especially so when we are all held captive in the van. You talk just to hear your own voice, I am sure of it. That, and you just have so much to say. You love reading books and having Mama read books to you.
You are able to count to ten. I still have to help you out and we count together, but you caught on pretty quick. You are a little copy cat and you pick up so much of what Piper is saying or doing.
