I want to blog

I even have posts swirling in my head. I have almost zero time. It’s hard to get a post on here in between all the feeding we do around here at night. Between Craig and I, we manage to get the bigger girls into bed and sleeping by 7:00 (most nights) but Quinn snacks until 10:00 or later. She is definitely fussier in the evenings and very high maintenance once the older girls are in bed. I’m sure it’s just a phase and as such, this too shall pass.

Last night, she went to sleep around 9:00 and slept through the night. Craig woke her at 5:30 to feed her (in hopes that I would still get to sleep until at least 7:00 when the older girls woke up) then she went back to sleep until 8:00! I heard her around 6:30 making noise and I didn’t want her waking the other two, so I brought her to our bed. What a night!
Of course, I enjoyed none of it. I was up every hour waiting for her to wake and checking in on her when she didn’t. Even now, with our third child, when her cries don’t wake me… her silence does.

OH SISTA!!! I hear ya. I think I was in a coma for the first 2 years of the boys life for sure. I couldn't read blogs, let alone write one. LOL

I also know about the silence..when they are sleeping. I get scared that they are ok…seriously. WE have been having some issues with them coming back to our bed A LOT lately and I am not sleeping well because of it, my back hurts, my head hurts….my heart..UGH. SO when they do sleep through the night in their OWN bed…I am more scared then not.

hang in there…she's be 5 soon enough..right???

sending hugs!!

That last sentence sounds familiar…

I know I've used it before but it is so true.
