Dearest Quinn ~
You, my girl, brighten my days and warm my heart. You are five months old today and the time is flying right by. It seems like just yesterday that I was still pregnant with you and wondering when you would make your debut.
You have been busy this past month. Going from giggling to laughing. I lOVE your laugh. I hope we hear it often in the days, weeks, months and years to come. You have also mastered the art of taking your soother out of your mouth. You are just now starting to master the art of putting it back in.
I have witnessed two other babies do these things… but watching you do it is just as exciting and ever so special. I love carrying you in my Ergo Baby Carrier and trying hard not to think about the day that you will be too big for it. You are just growing so fast. Right before my eyes. In leaps and bounds. You are growing too fast.
I know that I have said this to your sisters, before you… but it is true for you as it was for them. Mama has forgotten what life was like without you. It is as though you have been here with us all along. In some way you were. The dream of you has always been with us. I want you to know how much joy I feel when I see you smile each morning and when I hear you groan and sigh each night as you drift off to sleep. Somehow, I was fortunate enough to be so incredibly blessed to have you in my life. I want you to know that I love you… more than my own life, much more.

5 months! Wow, and I remember how stressed you were about the end of the pregnancy. Amazing how fast time flies!
