If I was told by God that he was giving me a second chance at life and that I had a chance to do it all over, I would do it all again with you.
I live this life with no regrets. The moment I met you, I knew that I would be your Wife. I knew that you would be a Husband of the modern kind. One look. One kiss. I never doubted our future together. And it is true. If I had to do it all over, I would do it all again with you. Not changing a single moment. I feel so fortunate to be able to say this and truly feel it in my heart and soul.
You have seen me at my best, and you love me.
You have seen me at my saddest, and you love me.
You have seen me at my darkest, and you love me.
You have seen me at my worst, and you love me.
You have seen me at my happiest, and you love me.
Even now, after all these years, I know that we are so in love.
You sit steadfast beside me in the middle of the night while I rock a toddler that screams in my ear. We stand steadfast together as we set rules and boundaries for our children and our family. Even if we do not agree or see eye to eye, we stand together never wavering.
You put me first, even before yourself.
You put the girls first, even before yourself.
After all these years, you are still the last person that I want to talk to at night before I go to sleep. I still look forward to our morning telephone call after we have both left for work. In the chaos of life and being parents to three active girls, I start to miss you when we have not had a chance to sit down and talk. When life is rocky and we are navigating rough terrain, I still look at you and think that you are the only one I would want to be doing this with. There are so many uncertainties in life…. you and me together is not one of them.
If the next ten years of our life to together are even half as good. Half as happy. Half as exciting. I will have more love, goodness, and excitement than I will ever need. I love you beyond measure. Happy 10 year Anniversary, Craig. You make this life worth it.
