Hoping life will slow down soon, but I don’t think it will.  We run here there and everywhere for skating, ringette and dance.  That doesn’t leave much time for errands and groceries.  Piper is ripping up the ice in ringette and it didn’t take her long to score her first goal.  I love getting excited and cheering for her.

Craig and I are both crazy busy at work.  It is becoming more of a challenge to juggle our family life, work and each other.  As of recently, we became very aware of how much we have been neglecting us.  We have made a decision together to carve out more time for us, away from the girls.  This is extremely difficult to do for many reasons.  One of which is not wanting to leave the girls with babysitters so we can go out.  They spend their days with our Nanny (who we all love !) and I am very torn when thinking of going out in the evening and leaving them with a babysitter.

We have a sprinkling of snow on the ground.  When the Big Girls woke and saw it they immediately searched for boots and ski pants and went outside to play.  It was still dark out but they did not care.  To be a kid again and roll in the snow with the first sprinkling like it was the first time ever!  My yard is now sprinkled with snow castles and tiny tiny snowmen.

Christmas music is now playing in our house and during rides in the truck.  The favourite right now is “Nuttin for Christmas” as Davi is dancing to this song in dance class and “Santa on the Rooftop”.  I am getting excited for Christmas and I have a feeling that there may be a Tree up in our house this weekend sometime.
