Before Christmas

where she could find some snow.
The Divas are wound
tighter than springs
wondering what the
Big Man in Red
will bring.
Daddy has a headache
and Mama is hacking
but we’re so excited
Our spirit is not lacking.
Diva 1 wants a new tooth,
Diva 2 wants a doll,
Diva 3 wants everything
she’ll love it all!
Papa and Gramma arrived
with Auntie in tow,
carrying gifts all wrapped
with a ribbon and bow.
My baking is baked
my shopping is done
the presents are wrapped
Time for some fun!
I am getting giddy
as Santa takes flight.
