Dear Quinn ~
Since we moved, you have been my little sidekick. It’s been a nice change getting to spend all this time with you. We hang out at home, go shopping and we have done some Christmas baking. It’s been fun. You started at a new Nursery school and you are loving your time there. I’m so happy for you and all the friends that you are meeting.
I know that moving has been a big change for you. When you are tired and cranky, you have a good cry and tell me how much you miss our old home. I get it. I do too. It’s hard to leave things we love so much behind. We had so many wonderful memories in that home. So many laughs and lots of tears too. You came home from the hospital to that home. You said your first words and took your first steps while we were living in that home. It’s hard not to be sad about leaving it all behind but we carry those memories with us always. You just need to remember that.
We are off to see Santa this morning. I love this tradition. I love this time of year. I love you.
