Dear Piper `

School ended last week. You had a fantastic report card and your Dad and I are very proud of you. Next fall you will move onto middle school. You will spend two years there without one of your siblings. It won’t be until you are in Grade 6 and Davilyn is in Grade 4 that you will be in the same school as one of your sisters. It’s going to be a bit strange at first.

Your first week of summer holidays consisted of late nights and days spent in the pool and on the lake. It’s been a great week for weather. Next week you are off to camp. It’s going to be another great summer of camp filled days and pool filled nights. In addition to the day camps you are spending two weeks this summer in hockey camp.  You are pretty pumped about it and are looking forward to it.  To be honest, I am too!  I am in withdrawal from yelling, “Skate, Piper, Skate!”  I really miss watching you play.  We are planning a week in Thunder Bay so you can attend one camp.  I thought that I would enjoy the days at the campground, but the truth is, I cannot wait to get in the arena and watch you skate.

I am a Hockey Mom through and through.

Mama loves you Magoo.

Love Mama
