Is hopefully on it’s way out of the building… there were a few very rough nights here at The Rumour Mill and some exhausting days. I called my Mom (who lives about 3.5 hours away) and asked if she would be able to come out for a few days just to help us out…. and she came.
Thank goodness! On Sunday night as Craig and I settled in for the long haul, already exhausted from the previous night, we both looked at eachother and wished for family to be nearby. We have none. No one to call in the middle of the night, morning or day for any relief… just us. And at the moment, we felt incredibly lonely. Not to mention overwhelmed.
But my Mom came and we are so very thankful. She arrived Monday afternoon and she was up with Davilyn Monday and Tuesday nights. We were able to get some rest and get our minds back. Thankfully last night, Davily had great night and actually slept more than she was awake. She appears to be on the mend. We are going to see her Paediatrician on Monday and based on that appointment we will either be going on our trip to Disney World, or not.
Keep your fingers crossed for us… that Davilyn is well and we can still make our trip on the 30th.

P.S. will your Mom adopt me? Mine won’t even come over when I need to go to a meeting. There is no way in heck she would come over if I needed help. 🙁
