Dearest Piper ~
You are one month shy of three years old and I am having a hard time letting go of my toddler and embracing my preschooler. I am ever so sad about just how quickly the time goes.
You are one of the funniest little girls that I have ever met and I love that about you. You love to take any situation and make it funnier. You love to make us all laugh.
You also love to have your picture taken… which is a good thing because Mama takes abizzilion of them! You always ask Mama to take your picture and then you want to look at it right away.
Each day I am amazed by the wonderful experience it is to be a mother. Even on those days when you and I are at odds and we both are in desperate need of a time out. Even during those nights when we wake because Davilyn needs us and then as soon as we drift off to sleep again, we hear you calling. I’m amazed because it doesn’t matter how messy my hair is you always tell me that it looks pretty. Who needs to hear compliments by anyone else when your (almost) three year old gives the best ones.
Thank you for continuing to amaze me… now please pick up your toys!
