We have not been so unbelievably sick in this house that I was actually looking forward to going to work today. Nope. Not I! So this morning when the radio alarm work me and I could still hear the wind howling outside, I did not cross my fingers that we would all be out of the house in just over an hour. I certainly did not do that.
I did not moan when I heard the radio DJ say that all of my routes to work were “travel not advised.” Nope. Not I.
I will also tell you what Piper did not do today when I told her we would all be staying home. She did not look at me and say, “But, I don’t want to stay home. I want to go to daycare.” Nope, not Piper.
