It’s true what they say. You know, that kids say the cutest things. You just never know when they are listening to you and what they are putting in the back of their mind to pull out later. There are times I have no idea where they hear the things they do!
Here are some of the things I have been hearing at The Rumour Mill headquarters…
Piper: “Mommy, will I have boobs like yours some day?”
Me: “Yes, someday.”
Piper: “Will they be just like yours?”
Me: “Well they might be smaller.”
Piper: “Smaller! hmpf!”
As she crosses her arms and walks away.
When I found her online shopping for Disney shoes, Piper said to me:
“Don’t worry, I’ll share with Davilyn.”
My favourite from the last few days (and the reason for the title of this post):
The big girls were playing downstairs and I heard Davilyn start to cry. Then I heard Piper say,
“Davilyn, snap out of it and listen to me!”
