Happy Valentine’s Day, friends. What are you doing to celebrate? Valentine’s Day is always acknowledged in our home. We don’t buy elaborate gifts but the big girls got a little something special. Piper got a beading kit to make bracelets and necklaces and Davi Doodle got a new princess dress (Rapunzel from Tangled). Quinn is too little to understand.
We went out for supper on Saturday night as a family and yesterday I slaved over cupcakes for the girls to take to day care tomorrow.
Valentine’s Day has special meaning in our home. It was the first official holiday that Craig and I spent together as a couple, 12 years ago. I’m sappy that way.

Oh , well John and I went out ALONE on Sat, dinner and the movies and it was nice. Then last night (VALENTINES DAY) we all had “dinner” , I let the boys eat cupcakes and candy and I gave them hugs, kisses and tickles…we all went upstairs and watched Despictable Me….and then John and I watched DVRd HOUSE. SEXY..right?
when I was growing up, my dad always made a big deal of Valentines day for my sister and I , until he died, we always got A beautiful card and candy from him for that special day of love and I like that you are doing that with the Divas. I hope that even though they are boys, we can make a day of love special like that for them.
