Dear Piper ~

You are in full swing of school and hockey, including attending Winnipeg Jets games.  Your first Jets game of the season is under your belt and I wonder how many more you will get to this year.  School seems to be going well for you.  This is my first (and almost last) year of having all three of my girls in the same school.  This won’t happen again until your last year of elementary school.  You will be in grade 8, Davilyn grade 6 and Quinn grade 4.  Then that will be it.  You and Quinn will never attend high school together.

You couldn’t wait to get back into your skates this year.  I think you would skate every night if you could.  I wish you could.  I love watching you play and skate.  I am the loud Mom in the stands and you always tell me that you hear me yelling.  I hope you never grow tired of hearing me cheer you on and I hope you never get embarrassed by it.  Even your sisters get in on the yelling and cheering.

I hope you never get tired of hearing your Mom yell, “Go Piper! Skate!  Skate!  Skate!”  I will never get tired of cheering you on.  I will never get tired of running to arenas after you, sitting in the stands and freezing my butt off.  I will never get tired of being your biggest fan.

Mama loves you, Piper

Love Mama.
