Dear Quinn ~
It’s almost Christmas and you are beyond excited!
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve.
We have had a fun but chaotic lead up to the holidays this year. We still have boxes in our living room and our kitchen from our move just two weeks ago. It seemed crazy and I was uncertain about moving right before the holidays but we couldn’t be happier to be in our new home for Christmas.
It’s beautiful. It really is.
We have our decorations up and shining in our home. It was difficult not decorating at the beginning of the month like we usually do and we were all feeling a bit grumpy because of it. But we managed. We made our cookies and our gingerbread house. We sent out our Christmas cards and have watched Christmas movies. We have played in the snow, snuggled on the couch and had a meeting with the Big Man in Red, himself.
And now, I can’t believe that we are on the horizon of celebrating your 5th Christmas. Your excitement is contagious. Your giddy and cute. You are tempted by the few gifts under the tree (although not nearly as tempted as I was as a young girl). I am looking forward to watching you open your gifts.
