Dear Quinn ~
You lost your first tooth this week and were so proud of it! It was especially exciting for you to wake up to $5.00 under your pillow. The tooth fairy is very generous around here when it comes to a child’s first tooth falling out.
You then quickly spent all your money at the arena canteen this weekend. It was kinda fun to watch you spend it. You were so proud of having your very own money to spend and you knew just how you were going to do that.
I was sad to miss all the excitement of loosing your first tooth and then your first visit from the tooth fairy. I was in Winnipeg with Gramma and Papa while Gramma had hip replacement surgery. You were very excited to FaceTime and tell me all about it.
This time next month we will be celebrating birthday number 5 in Florida. The more birthdays we celebrate together, the more unbelievable this journey becomes. I still feel so young, especially when I am playing and dancing with my girls. Too young to have a baby that is soon 5.
The days seem long but the years are short.
