Dear Piper ~
You competed in the spelling bee at school yesterday and made it to the end. You did great and we are proud of you. Now you know why I was on your back for two weeks making you practise. It was worth it in the end, wasn’t it.
We spent a quiet weekend around the house getting some things done. You and your sisters fought. And made up. And fought again.
We had our first official bonfire in our back yard and it was pretty great. We have a nice little spot and there were no bugs. Things ended just a bit early when it started to rain. Of course we just got packed up and the rain stopped. We all had a great time though.
You gave Lacrosse a try a few weeks ago and then declared that you wanted to play. Right now there isn’t a league here to play in, but I am hoping that they get one started. It is a nice alternative to soccer.
We have busy month ahead of us and then we will be into summer. I can’t wait.
