Dear Quinn ~
There are many Quinnisms these days. You are silly as ever.
“I know why this is called watermelon. Because it’s water and it’s melon.”
“I know why this is called chocolate chips. Because it’s chocolate and it’s chips.”
I love these Quinnisms. You think of a new one each day.
I’m going to miss them when they stop coming but right now, whenever you say one I feel my mouth turn up at the corners into a smile that sits there for quite some time.
You are old enough for the day camps this summer and you are loving them just as much as your sisters do. They play you right out and you come home exhausted but you are loving your adventures and meeting new friends.
We have been busy at home too. Swimming, jumping on the trampoline, cleaning, swinging on the swings, swimming. Last weekend we started getting the camper ready for our week in Thunder Bay. Your sisters will go to hockey camp and we will watch but hopefully we will spend some hot summer afternoons swimming and playing too.
