Dear Piper ~
You truly are a hockey lover. When you aren’t playing it, you are watching it on TV or on your iPad or you are talking about it. We are three months into this crazy schedule of ours and enjoying all the breaks when we do get them. After Christmas your schedule picks up and the tournaments start. I’m sure by April, you will be more than ready for a break.
Watching you and your sisters play hockey is one of my favourite things to do.
You are heading into your last two weeks of school before Christmas Break. No Christmas concert for you this year but you and your class are going to visit seniors homes and do some caroling. That should be a lot of fun for you all. How quickly that happened. One day I’m sitting in the audience as you sing Christmas songs with your class and the next I am getting letters saying that at your grade there are no more concerts but community visits instead.
Part of me is happy to not have to schedule a third concert into our schedule and the other part of me is wondering how that happened so quickly.
I’m looking forward to having some down time over the holidays and just spending it together.
