Dear Davilyn ~
Happy New Year!
It’s hard to believe we just said goodbye to 2016 and welcomed 2017! What a year it has been. We had another great Christmas and I think you were pleased with what you found under the Christmas tree even though there was not a Hatchimal to be found.
You tried to have a sleep over on new years eve, but you came home just after midnight. I get it. You wanted to have a chance to celebrate with us too. It was strange to not have you with us most of the evening celebrating.
You still have one more week of break before you get back to school and routine. It’s been great staying up late and sleeping in. Riding the snow machines and skating on outdoor rinks. We have so much snow!
This first half of 2017 you will be busy with hockey tournaments but before we know it, the season will wind down. So let’s enjoy this all together.
I’m excited to see what 2017 has in store for you, Dudes. I think that it will be great. I think that you will continue to make great memories and foster your beautiful friendships. We will continue to spend as much time together as we can and the memories we make in 2017 will be as awesome as any other year. You are growing into a beautiful young lady and I could not be more proud of you.
