Dear Quinn ~

Look at you holding your silver medal!  You worked so hard with your team to earn that medal!  What a great weekend of hockey it was.  We stayed up late, played hard and skated hard.  We have a few more tournaments and then your season will be at an end.  Another season gone.  Next year you will be on your own without Davilyn.  I can’t wait to see how you develop and grow as a hockey player and teammate.

Oh my dear Quinn you are growing up so fast.

You are funny and silly.  You are serious and intense.

Your bedtime have improved so much.  We have found a way to help you wind down and let go of the days events so that you can drift off to sleep and get a good rest.  I think we are all starting to win at this bedtime thing.  Sometimes, you just find it so hard to turn your mind off.

You talk a lot.  Our car rides are never peaceful, but they are never boring either.  Especially when you are alone with just Mommy or Daddy (or both of us together), it’s your turn to have our undivided attention and you make sure that you fill all the gaps.  I hope you never stop sharing your mind and your heart with us and I hope you never stop trying to fill the gaps.

We love you so much, Quinner.

Love Mama.
