we are going to Christmas mass
as the birth of the baby Jesus grows near
We moved from our 30 acre wood back
into Fort Frances…

Festivus was celebrated with all of our friends
Grievances, feats of strength and an aluminum pole
laughter and merriment and not one
single lump of coal
I put on my skates
to skate with the kids
I didn’t fall once
although they were taking bids
My baking is baked
my shopping is done
the presents are wrapped
Time for some fun!
I am getting giddy
as Santa takes flight.
